A 24-year-old suspect accused of firebombing a Tesla dealership in Colorado has been arrested and is now facing federal charges, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Monday.

Cooper Jo Fredrick, a resident of Fort Collins, Colorado, was captured in Plano, Texas, after allegedly launching a violent attack on a Tesla dealership in Loveland on March 7. The suspect reportedly threw an incendiary device—essentially a homemade firebomb—at the dealership, barely missing several parked cars and endangering innocent people inside the building.

Bondi, taking a strong stance against this growing wave of left-wing violence, issued a stern warning to anyone thinking of targeting Tesla or its CEO, Elon Musk.

“Let this be a warning. You can run, but you cannot hide,” Bondi said in a video message. “Justice is coming.”

This isn’t just random vandalism—it’s part of a coordinated wave of attacks against Tesla properties. The attacks appear to be fueled by leftist rage against Musk, who has openly supported President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and has stood firm against progressive censorship on his platform, X (formerly Twitter).

Tesla’s factories and dealerships have been repeatedly targeted in recent weeks, and authorities believe these incidents are politically motivated. Another suspect, Lucy Grace Nelson (also known as Justin Thomas Nelson, 42), has also been charged for a separate February 27 attack on the same Tesla dealership.

The FBI and the ATF have now formed a joint task force to crack down on this escalating violence.

According to Loveland police, several people were inside the dealership cleaning at the time of the attack. Had the firebomb landed differently, this could have turned deadly. A police officer was able to quickly extinguish the flames, preventing a major catastrophe.

The building and multiple vehicles were also damaged by rocks, authorities said.

Bondi made it clear that this domestic terrorism will not be tolerated.

“I’ve made it clear that if you take part in the wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, we will find you, arrest you, and put you behind bars,” Bondi said.

“All of these cases are a serious threat to public safety. Therefore, there will be no negotiation.”

Federal prosecutors are seeking a 20-year prison sentence for Frederick, Bondi confirmed. Along with federal charges, he’s also facing multiple state charges, including second-degree arson and possession of explosives.

With radical leftists increasingly resorting to violence against political opponents, this case serves as a stark reminder of how far the unhinged anti-Trump crowd is willing to go.

Pam Bondi and federal law enforcement are sending a strong message: political violence won’t be tolerated—no matter who it targets.
