The sinking ship that is CNN just took another hit. The network, once considered a dominant force in cable news, saw its primetime ratings nosedive by 14% in January compared to the same time last year. Despite its best efforts to push a left-wing agenda, viewers are tuning out in droves, seemingly fed up with the relentless bias against conservatives and former President Donald Trump.

This is just the latest in a series of humiliating blows for the so-called “most trusted name in news,” which has been struggling for years to keep up with its more successful competitors. Ever since Trump’s resounding election victory in November, liberal media outlets have faced an undeniable reckoning. Viewers are making their voices heard—ditching left-leaning networks in favor of fairer, more balanced reporting.

According to *AdWeek*, CNN wasn’t the only casualty. MSNBC, another bastion of liberal talking points, fared even worse, suffering a catastrophic 33% drop in total primetime viewership and an astonishing 41% decline in the key advertising demographic. Their daytime numbers were just as dismal, dropping 34% overall and 42% in the demo.

Meanwhile, Fox News—the undisputed leader in cable news—experienced a massive surge. Fox’s primetime audience grew by a staggering 40%, with an even more impressive 61% increase among key demographics. Across the entire day, Fox News rose by 53% in viewership and 70% in the demo, leaving its competitors in the dust.

These numbers tell a clear story: Americans are rejecting the mainstream media’s constant distortions, and they’re looking for real news, not left-wing propaganda.

Following Trump’s victory, even CNN’s own conservative commentator, Scott Jennings, couldn’t ignore the reality that the network—and the broader media landscape—had completely misread the country. Jennings didn’t hold back in calling out CNN’s blatant bias and the media’s refusal to acknowledge Trump’s overwhelming mandate from the American people.

“This is a mandate. He’s won the national popular vote for the first time for a Republican since 2004—this is a big deal. This isn’t backing into office,” Jennings stated. He emphasized that voters were demanding action on the issues that matter most: restoring a booming economy, securing the border, reducing crime, and bringing stability back to America.

But perhaps Jennings’ most important point was his scathing critique of the media elite and their treatment of everyday Americans. He argued that this election was “the revenge of the regular, old working-class American.” For years, these hardworking citizens have been ridiculed, insulted, and cast aside by out-of-touch journalists who paint them as extremists simply for wanting a safer, more prosperous country.

“They’re not garbage. They’re not Nazis. They’re just regular people who get up and go to work every day, trying to make a better life for their kids,” Jennings said, in what should be a wake-up call for CNN and the rest of the liberal media.

Instead of learning from their mistakes, however, CNN and MSNBC seem intent on doubling down on their out-of-touch narratives—alienating even more viewers in the process. As a result, conservative media continues to dominate while the once-mighty liberal networks are left scrambling to salvage what’s left of their dwindling audience.

In the end, the numbers don’t lie. America has spoken, and they’re choosing truth over left-wing spin.
