In this case, the test stretches the abilities of your vision. The folks behind the test, Bright Side, go so far as to suggest that if you don’t do well on this test, it’s probably time to make an appointment with your optician!
Let’s just say that the lines might be pretty long at the eye doctor’s office as this test makes the rounds. The 10 questions all feature boldly colored shapes.
In some questions, you are just asked if you see anything inside the shape. After answering yes or no, you’re told whether or not you answered correctly.
Other questions ask you what, specifically, you see within the given shape. One question, for example, asks if you see a telescope, a ring, a magnifying glass, or nothing at all.
The final question asks you how many circles you see within a circle.
Some who take this test might say it’s easy, but to others, this test is truly baffling. For someone who only sees a blue oval, it’s impossible to believe that there is a visible guitar hiding within it!
If you do decide it’s time to get your eyes tested after doing poorly on this test, it’s probably not necessary to share with your eye doctor what brought you to his or her office.
