Nancy Pelosi, once the powerful Speaker of the House, is now better known for slurred speeches, political incoherence, and questionable public appearances. Her latest performance? A viral speech so muddled and rambling that many viewers were left wondering if the California Democrat had dipped too far into her infamous wine stash—again.

In a July 25 clip that quickly made the rounds on social media, Pelosi launched into a confused tirade against capitalism. Slurring her words and stumbling through vague class warfare talking points, she appeared utterly detached from reality. It wasn’t long before conservative commentators began asking the question many have pondered for years: is Nancy Pelosi intoxicated during her public speeches?

One conservative influencer captured the moment perfectly, posting:
**“🚨 WTF? What’s wrong with Nancy Pelosi, is she intoxicated? Gibberish and more gibberish! I don’t think the audience can even understand what she is saying. One of the premier faces of the Democrat Party.”**

And he wasn’t wrong. In the clip, Pelosi tries to discuss CEO pay and something she called “stakeholder capitalism,” but the delivery was pure chaos.
“So \[this is] about 30 times stakeholder capitalism. Now we’ve moved to shareholder capitalism, where the CEO of the company is making like 300 or 400 times, where workers are making…” she began—before repeating herself and trailing off into another tangent.

It only got worse from there. Pelosi continued:
**“It would take, well again, a person’s whole future, but if you go back, it would take from like well before the revolution, for them to have to work all that time to make what the boss makes.”**

If anyone in the audience understood what she was trying to say, they must’ve had a Pelosi-to-English translator handy.

Pelosi has long been a favorite target of conservative critics—not just for her far-left policies, but for her frequent public stumbles and apparent inability to speak clearly without descending into word salad. Over the years, a library’s worth of clips has emerged showing her slurring, freezing, or forgetting basic words mid-sentence. Still, Democrats keep her propped up as some kind of party elder, even as her credibility crumbles before our eyes.

At one point during the speech, she declared war on “unfairness” and “capitalist greed,” exclaiming:
**“It’s unfair, it’s unjust, it’s undemocratic, it’s wrong, it’s shameful, and it must be changed… to cancel the cuts, to cancel the cuts, but with a reason, and also listening to how you see what the priorities should be for the future.”**
Whatever that means.

She then bizarrely tried to wrap it all up with a patriotic flourish that only deepened the confusion:
**“I’ll just again close by, say, and I mean, at this time, I’m from Baltimore… The national anthem was written in Baltimore, and I’m very proud of that.”**

At this point, it’s not just conservatives raising eyebrows. Even independents and moderate Democrats have started to question whether Pelosi—who is 85—is still fit to appear in public without handlers close by.

It’s becoming painfully clear: the Democrat Party is clinging to aging, out-of-touch elites who can barely make it through a speech. And if Pelosi is the best they’ve got to preach about the future of capitalism, maybe it’s time they stepped aside and let someone coherent take the mic.
