Like many nine year olds all across America, Scott Lundy asked Santa for one very special gift this year: a PlayStation 4. When Christmas morning came, Scott excitedly opened his presents and found the gaming console under the tree. He held the box in the air and told his parents, “This is the best Christmas ever!”, but the smiles drained from everyone’s faces as he opened the box.

Instead of the anticipated PS4, this nine year old found a wooden block with a crude drawing and vulgar message. The thief had drawn a penis and signed it, “From cock and balls with love.” Scott’s parents removed the wooden block before he could get a close look at the writing, but his stepmother told the news reporter that his Christmas morning was still ruined, Hes crying and hes upset and hes in the playroom by himself and he just wants to be alone at that point.

I was crushed. Scott’s parents decided to return the wooden block to the Saugus, Massachusetts Target where they had purchased it. The employees there gave them a new PS4, a $100 gift card, and a new copy of the game that was supposed to have been included with the console. They have elected not to file a police report and are allowing Target to handle the investigation, but the Lundy family will be writing a letter to Santa about his “rogue elf” who played this nasty prank on an innocent little boy.
