When it comes to the universe and the galaxy beyond, there is so much possibility and mystique.

The United States has featured amazingly high-technological advancements as it relates to space exploration. NASA is always on the forefront and miles ahead of everyone else. That’s why, each new piece of equipment that allows all of us to see more beyond the universe, is an extraordinary gift, and NASA has another prize it’s ready to show off.

According to a press release by NASA.com, the incredible James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has finally been fully assembled at NASAs Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland.

This NASA baby’s a whopper in every sense of the word. The JWST includes key mirrors, 18 primary segments that will work together as one large 21.3-foot diameter mirror.

The Hubble Telescope used to be the strongest telescope. However, the James Webb Space Telescope blows the Hubble away, because it will offer 100 times the observing power. NASA’s new telescope will launch in October of 2018, so continue to sit tight. The JWST was supposed to mark its debut back in 2011, but there have been numerous delays.

The mega telescope has a fat price tag, too; just think, $8.7 billion. NASA believes it will be worth it, but still, NASA must endure months of testing to see if the Jams Webb Space Telescope is worth the hype.
