It’s not every day that someone cuts open the body of an anaconda to see what’s inside.
One of these massive snakes was captured in Nigeria and killed by a group in a village. They thought that the snake had consumed a calf from one of the farms in the area. The animal was about a foot wide and 10 feet long when the villagers found him.
The villagers believed that the snake was an African Rock Python. These are the largest that live in the area. However, it appears as though the animal could be an anaconda instead.
The villagers gathered together to cut open the snake to see what was inside and to see if it was the culprit for taking the calf.There were numerous eggs inside the snake. The snake wasn’t large because it had eaten a large meal.
It was big because there were dozens of eggs inside. These eggs were removed because they are actually a delicacy in Nigeria. There are many people who will pay a lot of money to get these eggs to enjoy as a meal.
Some people who saw the eggs in the snake felt bad about what the villagers did, but they know that the snake can pose a threat to animals and people.
