Photographs are a great way to document memories and look back on your life, but they can also capture some eerie moments.

Reddit user Doppelclaus shared a picture that his cousin had sent him back in 2002, and it has terrified the Redditors that have seen it.

In his post, Doppelclaus described his cousin as a “big, heavylifting railroad guy and doesn’t scare easily.” However, he was visibly creeped out when showing the photo to Doppelclaus.

The photograph features the cousin’s toddler-aged daughter standing on a chair in their home. At first glance, it just seems like an adorable baby picture.

Both Doppelclaus and his cousin noticed a figure in the top right corner of the picture, though. They used Photoshop to brighten the picture to see more details of the figure and discovered a terrifying face peeking out from behind a wall.

When they discovered the paranormal figure in the picture, Doppelclaus’ cousin and his family almost moved out of the house.

The cousin and his family had only lived in the house for about six months when the photo was taken, and they bought the property from one of their neighbors.

The neighbor’s father had built the house in the 1970s or 1980s and had lived there for years before he passed away, leaving his son to inherit it.

Doppelclaus and his cousin believe the man in the photograph is the original owner of the home, who had been dead for more than 10 years when the picture was taken.
