In 2008, a 17-year-old girl named Shelby Allen had a lot going for herself. She was an honor student and a star athlete. During Christmas break, she asked her parents if she could spend the night at her friend’s house. Her parents said yes even though they were very protective of their daughter.

Shelby and her friend Alyssa went out for a late night food run. After they returned home, they received a text from another friend named Jane. They were invited to a party.

Jane also told them that there was alcohol at the party. Shelby had gotten into trouble for drinking before, but she still thought it was a good idea to go to the party.

Shelby took pictures of the bottles and sent them to her parents and their friends. Things took a turn for the worse after Jane’s parents went to bed.

Before Jane’s parents went to bed, they told the girls to stop drinking. Shelby started taking shots of Vodka after she Jane’s parents went to bed. She wanted to take 14 more shots before the night was over.

She ended up getting sick after taking the 15th shot. Shelby started gagging and convulsing.

Her friends propped her up on the toilet and thought that she was going to sleep off the feeling. Alyssa was shocked when she saw Shelby the next morning.

Shelby was covered in blood, and it looked like someone had strangled her.

Alyssa called 911, but the paramedics were not able to revive Shelby.

She passed away from alcohol poisoning. Shelby’s mother, who had lost another child due to SIDS, was devastated. She has now dedicated her life to raising awareness about the dangers of teen drinking.
