Austin was a lot like other teenagers. He enjoyed playing video games, texting his friends and playing sports.

Things changed when he got sick. He developed a fever and began throwing up. Everyone in the family got sick, and they assumed that the sickness would be over in one or two days.

However, Austin’s mother knew that something was wrong when Austin was still sick after everyone else had recovered.

Austin also had a lump on his neck. His mother took him to the doctor, and they did some blood work. They also did a CT scan. The doctors found out that Austin had Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, which is a form of cancer.

Austin started chemotherapy treatments shortly after his diagnosis. He was also given an experimental drug.

Three months after starting the treatment, a scan revealed that Austin’s cancer was almost gone. Austin played football before he was diagnosed with cancer. He looks forward to playing football again. Austin went to high school the entire time he was undergoing chemotherapy.

He will still have to undergo radiation treatments. He will also have to visit his doctor every few weeks. His doctors are hopeful and believe that he will make a full recovery.
