Mr. Bonner is a teacher who is truly dedicated to his profession. He teaches in an impoverished area. Many of the students were struggling to succeed because of the socioeconomic situation.
He knew that many students felt hopeless, so he decided to make a song to help them learn. The video went viral. Because of Mr. Bronner’s hard work, all of the kids in the class were able to pass their test.
His hard work has not gone unnoticed. He appeared on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” and got a pleasant surprise. The kids made a video telling Mr. Bronner how happy they were to have him as their teacher.
One student said that he wanted to be like Mr. Bronner when he grew up. The kids also appeared on “The Ellen Degeneres Show”.
The producers asked the kids what they liked most about their teacher. One boy stated that he enjoyed being in Mr. Bronner’s class because he played football with him. One girl stated that Mr. Bronner was nice to her.
Mr. Bronner stated that he is passionate about teaching because he wants the kids to succeed. Ellen provided the students and Mr. Bronner with many of the supplies that they needed, such as iPads and televisions. Ellen also presented the school with a check for $25,000.
