Everyone is excited to see a new baby. However, you may want to think twice about giving one a kiss. Amy Stinton is the mother of a baby who got herpes after receiving a kiss from a stranger. She has shared the story on Facebook to warn others about the dangers of kissing a baby.

Amy explained in the post that her son now has herpes for the rest of his life. She also stated that people should not kiss a stranger’s baby. Additionally, she said that her son had to receive an IV drip for four days because of the infection. Amy later posted an update saying that her son was doing better. She refused to speak to the media about the case because she wants to focus on taking care of her family.

Claire Henderson’s baby also developed herpes after being kissed by a stranger. She posted pictures of her baby on Facebook. She also warned people that if a baby develops herpes, then it can lead to brain damage. Herpes is far more common than people realize. It is estimated that 67 percent of people have Herpes Simplex 1, which causes cold sores to develop on the mouth. Most people can live with Herpes without complications, but this condition can be fatal for babies.
