Almost everyone has dealt with a food thief at their workplace before, and it’s easy to see that food theft creates real tension in the office. It’s hard to catch a food thief, and perpetrators are unlikely to reveal themselves if you ever catch them.
One woman finally got fed up with a colleague using her coffee creamer every day, and she planned the perfect revenge. She explained in a Reddit post that when she discovered her coworker was stealing her creamer, she was furious.
However, she wanted to get revenge in a creative way rather than cause a scene. She posted a picture of her container of creamer with a note attached, which read, “Good morning!
To whomever has been enjoying my coffee creamer all week… Surprise!!! You’ve been drinking my breast milk. Hope you’ve enjoyed. Cheers!” At the bottom of the note, she added, “It’s organic. So no worries.”
The Facebook page Breastfeeding Mama Talk shared the post, and within just a few hours, it had received 12,000 likes and 2,500 shares.Internet users have had mixed reactions to the post.
Some people have commented with support for the woman’s plan, but others have criticized her for taking the revenge too far. One commenter called her a “disgusting woman” and another wrote, “It is illegal to adulterate food stuffs, period.”
Other commenters shared similar stories from their own workplaces.
Hopefully, the thief will think twice from now on before stealing food from colleagues.
