While doing laundry may not be one of the most exciting household chores, getting those nasty stains out of your clothes can be somewhat rewarding by using one of three unconventional methods.

Most of us already have one or more of these inexpensive ingredients lying around the house, and your whites should end up looking brand new as a result. Got baking soda? If so, add one cup to every four liters of water and let your clothes soak in the solution for about five minutes.

After running a regular cycle in the washer, you should be able to see the difference right away, especially around those vulnerable areas where perspiration can accumulate.

If you don’t have time to let your clothes soak, you can also use a different and quicker method: vinegar and lemon juice. While this cleaning tip may sound a little strange, it actually works!

By adding a splash or two of these ingredients to a regular load of wash, you may be surprised to find that your clothes are not only cleaner, but softer as well; vinegar is also known to be one of nature’s finest fabric softeners.

Be careful not to add too much vinegar, mainly because the odor can be a little overbearing. It won’t harm your clothes, yet they may smell like vinegar for the better part of a day.

The last method here may end up getting rid of your headache while simultaneously removing the stains from your clothes.

The aspirin approach is simple. Check out the video clip for instructions, and then don’t forget to share it with your family and friends on Facebook. They may end up thanking you for making their day brighter!
