Sadie Robertson recently got a tattoo, even though she never imagined she would. She even said that she disliked the way all of her dad’s tattoos looked and would whine ever time he got a new one.

But after struggling with anxiety for several years, she decided to get a tattoo of the word “Fearless.” Sadie explained that for two years, she felt like she was constantly living in fear.

Although the bible says so many times not to fear, Saide found it hard to shake the feelings she was experiencing.

She even said no to major opportunities she was given because of fear. But eventually, she realized that things are always going to be scary, but it’s just a matter of realizing that God has already conquered fear and there’s so much more to life.

So, Sadie slowly started to trust God more, and although it wasn’t easy to let go of the fear, it slowly started to slip away. She even recalled the moment she began to feel fearless.

It was at a Winter Jam and she was backstage preparing to go out and speak, just as the ISIS attacks happened in Paris. She prayed about what was going on, and later a security guard asked her if she was comfortable going on stage.

She confidently said yes. Normally, fear would have consumed her, but that night, it didn’t even cross her mind.

That’s when she realized that being fearless could not only change her life, but it could change the lives of the people around her as well. She came back home from Paris and got the tattoo because she says she never wants fear to stop her from living her life.
