A premature baby’s smile has touched millions of lives. Love What Matters, which is an organization that is committed to spreading love and positive stories, posted the picture of the premature baby smiling on their Facebook page.
The baby’s mother, who is named Lauren Vinje, was the one who submitted the photo. She stated that her daughter was happy to be alive.
Lauren’s daughter only weighed three pounds and 14 ounces when she was born. She stated that she looks at the photo of her daughter often to remind her that life is precious. Lauren also stated that the photo reminds her of the incredible journey that her daughter is going through in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Many parents of premature babies were inspired to share their photos after seeing Lauren’s baby. One woman stated that her daughter was only three pounds and 16 ounces when she was born.
The little girl recently celebrated her seventh birthday. Another woman stated that her son was born two months early and only weighed five pounds. Her son is now getting ready to graduate from medical school.
Additionally, someone else stated that she was the mother of twins who were born at 26 weeks. They only weighed one pound at birth, but they recently celebrated their fifth birthday.
