She was anemic when she was found, and Maria had several fleas. The dog appeared to be frightened and anxious. The group worked to save Maria’s life as well as the lives of her puppies.
Fortunately, the group was able to deliver the puppies safely. Maria is now doing better, and her puppies are looking for new homes. If it wasn’t for her puppies, then Maria likely would have given up on living before she was rescued.
