A slow news day can sometimes lead to unexpected hilarity. Such was the case when these two news anchors watched a video that was aired during the local newscast.

The video featured the story of Thomas Thwaites, a 35-year-old British man who decided that life as a human had become a bit too stressful for him.

In an effort to remove himself from the hustle and bustle of the world and challenge societal norms, Thwaites decided to live as a goat. He fashioned a pair of prosthetic legs and attached them to his arms so he could walk on all fours.

The dedicated man also began eating grass just like his new goat family. His decision has garnered him a certain amount of internet fame. Thwaites has even been awarded the Ig Nobel Prize, an award given to “honor achievements that first make people laugh, and then make them think.

The television news crew members weren’t the only ones laughing. The comments of viewers on YouTube mostly focused on ridiculing Thwaites for his seemingly preposterous life choice.

There were some, however, who sympathized with him and chastised others for mocking him. Regardless of people’s thoughts on the mental health of the man who decide to live as a goat, everyone seems to respond to the video the same way.

Take one look at the story and you’ll understand why the news anchors could not contain their laughter.
