It is interesting to see how the people you grew up watching on television age. People’s looks change due to the natural aging process, and drug abuse can also change their appearance.
When a person is struggling with drug abuse, they sometimes look like an entirely different person. Maureen McCormick, who is known for her role as Marcia Brady on “The Brady Bunch,” had a seemingly perfect life when she was on camera.
However, her life off camera was a totally different story.
Maureen battled drug addiction for many years. She stated that there were cocaine dens all over Hollywood, and she used the drug to escape her problems.
The drug abuse not only impacted her health and appearance, but it also had a negative effect on her career. Her producer told her that if she did not get off of the drugs, then should would not be able to work in Hollywood.
That was what compelled her to make a change in her life.
Maureen also battled with bulimia and depression.
The depression, bulimia and drug addiction caused her to look much older than what she was. However, she eventually got the help that she needed. She is now living a happy life with her husband and daughter in Los Angeles.
