Have you ever enjoyed watching game shows on television? The Wheel of Fortune series has become one of the most popular daytime programs. Hosted by Pat Sajak and his assistant Vanna White, the popular contest pits three contestants against one another.

Participants struggle to solve puzzles by filling in missing letters to create words or phrases. The game show offers both cash prizes and other rewards, such as trips to resort locations or vehicles. Sometimes the contestants willing to take the biggest risks win!

One especially memorable show occurred a few years ago. Pat Sajak began a new round in the game. The three contestants stood at their podiums anxiously. A lengthy phrase remained unsolved on the board.

Each contest participant likely expected an opportunity to spin the “wheel of fortune” and win money by guessing a consonant or vowel correctly. When the round began, one of the players, a man named “Rick”, pushed the spinning wheel and, with $500 at stake, guessed an “R” would occur somewhere in the answer.

He proved mistaken! The next contestant took her turn. After spinning the wheel, for $900 she correctly guessed the phrase included an “L”. The next event in the contest startled everyone.

With only one letter on the game board to guide her efforts and a prize at stake, the contestant bravely asked if she could solve the puzzle? She startled many viewers by declaring:”I’ve got a good feeling about this!” An impressed Pat Sajak announced “That’s it!”
