An Instagram model is under fire over old tweets about not dating Asian men. The Filipina woman is learning that nothing goes away on the Internet and that it can do damage long after you forget that you wrote it.

Lily is Asian herself. In 2013 she went to twitter complaining about old, short Asian men attempting to buy her drinks. The model who uses Lily May Mac online said she would throw up on the next one who tried buying a drink for her. The tweets appear to be offensive and have caused users to voice opinions on her and her theories. The future of her modeling career is in question.

The Sydney based 22-year old prefers white men and has based Asian men in tweets during the last five years. She has publicly declared she intends to marry a white man because she wants a mixed baby and that her father is behind her 100%. Lily has said that her father told her it will be okay if the man she marries is white. The tweets were found by users of social media this week and she has been accused of having “white fever.”

Lily appears to know exactly what she wants her children to look like. Her preference appears to be that they be male, have blue eyes, and play soccer. She is determined that her child will have a white father. Lily has also tweeted about what she referred to as “mediocre” Asian girls with hot white boys using the hash tag yes I have a chance.

Lily mother has defended her daughter publicly on Facebook. Elise said that her daughter is pure Pinoy but they are not proud of the Pinoy mentality and that is the reason for migrating to Australia. This got backlash as well. She is only 5-feet tall and posts selfies that are filtered heavily to her accounts. She is facing backlash for the comments she has made regarding Asian men. She has also tweeted she is jealous of those who are half white half “Filo” and is thankful she looks mixed. She has gone so far as to post a picture in front of a wall of hate using the hashtag white power.

Filipino-American fashion photographer Eliza Romera believes that the dating preferences stated by her are from her hatred for herself and internalized prejudice. The model has apologized for the statements she says were made when she did not have an open mind before she was in the public eye. The apology might be to late because she could have lost future endorsements. Day One Agency has already tweeted that it is satisfying finding influencers to avoid adding to their network.

Followers searching through Lilly’s tweets see a string of posts embracing and encouraging bad behavior whether intentional or not. The Instagram model, or soon to be former Instagram model is learning the hard way that you can not take back what you say on social media.
