A man noticed an odd pile that was pink on the ground. Not realizing what it was, he poked the ball with a stick.

He soon found out that nature often has a way of surprising most people. The man was simply out for a walk when he saw the piles along the side of the road.

The small piles almost look like some kind of flower or plant upon first inspection. The area where the man is walking is close to a large water source. This should have given him a clue about what the piles might be before he poked them.

There is a good bit of moisture on the road as if it had recently rained before the man went out for his walk.

The piles are clearly seen scattered along the road. They have a dark color to them. They almost look like large snails from far away. He soon pokes one of the piles that looks like yarn that has been thrown out upon closer inspection. When he gets closer to the pile, you can see that there is a bit of movement.

The pile is actually small worms that are disrupted as soon as he begins prodding them with a stick.
