A McDonald’s worker in Miami is being recognized for going above and beyond.

The worker, whose name is Pedro Viloria, stated that he was working at the drive-thru window when he noticed that the officer was having trouble breathing.

He stated that he knew something was wrong when he saw the officer inflating her neck. Pedro jumped out of the window when he noticed the woman starting to lose consciousness.

The woman’s car was still in drive. There was another customer there who happened to be a paramedic. They were able to stop the vehicle before it hit another car. The paramedics and police were called.

They performed CPR and were able to revive the woman. She was taken to the hospital, but her condition is unknown. Pedro Viloria has been honored by the mayor of Miami-Dade for his heroic actions. Carlos Gimenez is the mayor of the city.

He stated that Pedro’s actions are an example of what can happen when people work together. Pedro has also been given an opportunity to work for the government.

Pedro stated that he feels good about the opportunity. He also stated that he is happy that he has people around him who is going to help him celebrate.
