The purpose of the interview was to discuss his new film, which is entitled “Gold.” However, he ended up talking about politics. Matthew stated that Donald Trump was the underdog that no one thought would win. He also stated that Donald Trump is an inspiration to people who dream about starting their own business one day. He also defended Donald Trump. He stated that it is time for Hollywood to stop hating Donald Trump and give him a break.

Matthew admitted that the election and inauguration were both divisive. However, he stated that it is time for the country to put aside its differences and get along with each other. He also stated that regardless of what we disagree on, Donald Trump is going to be our next president for the next four years.

He believes that we should try to compare what he does to what he says. He also believes that the country will be a better place if we put aside our differences.

Matthew McConaughey recently sat down with BBC's Andrew Marr to talk about his upcoming film, "Gold." In the interview, the Oscar Winning actor described the film as: "small time, central redneck America sticking one up to the snotty East Coast elites." McConaughey then proceeded to mention that many actors are ready to "dump on Trump," but suggested that people need to give him a chance. 

McConaughey said: "Well, they don't have a choice now, he's our President." He added: "it's time for us to embrace and shake hands with this fact and be constructive with him over the next four years."
