Every preteen listening to pop music back in 2010 knows about singing sensation Justin Bieber, who went from multi-platinum singing icon, drama show actor, and front page news maker, to being a newlywed. In 2018, Bieber married TV personality and American model Hailey Baldwin, also known as the daughter of the famous Flintstones co-star Stephen Baldwin. For Labor Day, Baldwin wished her fans a happy holiday on Instagram dressed in a red bikini next to her adorable pets. As fans watched Baldwin relax over the holiday dressed in a revealing bathing suit, people were still marveling over her husbandâs recent social media revelation.
Bieber, who has been a global celebrity for almost a decade, took to Instagram to share his mental health journey, detailing the darker times of his life and career. Being recognized as a teenager on YouTube, Bieber had to quickly adjust to fame and make life-changing decisions for both himself and his family. His roller coaster music career and relationships in the most prominent time of his life created an up-hill battle with heavy drugs and depression. Dealing with criticism at such a young age led to poor decision making and suicidal thoughts on numerous occasions. âItâs hard to get out of the bed in the morning when you are overwhelmed with your lifeâ Bieber stated. âSometimes it can even get to the point where you donât even want to live anymore.â The pop superstar made a similar confession while promoting his studio album âPurposeâ in 2015. Justin has always made efforts to be transparent with fans about his mental health and the trials that come along with fame. Bieber was involved with another famous singer named Selena Gomez, who also starred in the Disney sitcom âWizards of Waverly Placeâ, that was very rocky. The couple began dating in 2010 and allegedly dated on and off until 2018, when he married current wife Hailey. Since being with Hailey, Bieber has started his much needed road to redemption and has been the happiest heâs ever been.
Justinâs confession showed people outside of the entertainment industry that the price of fame can sometimes cause you to lose your identity, and potentially your life, acquiring worldly possessions. His social media post explains how his marriage helped him rebuild both himself and his broken relationships with people who truly mattered. Bieber admitted,âI started doing heavy drugs at 19 and abused all of my relationshipsâ and finding love and rehabilitation has helped finally get his life on the right track.
He ends his heartfelt post with words of encouragement, saying, âEven when the odds are against you, keep fighting.â Hailey, outside of her cute bikini and wicker chair, revealed to the world that loving the people that matter the most can help them overcome any obstacle, even suicidal thoughts. Sometimes, even the worldâs biggest stars need the reassurance that when they lose it all, they still can gain the best relationship theyâve ever had and even more importantly, regain their will to live their best life.
