One of the most amazing things a couple can do is create an innovative first dance during the reception. One couple recently tore up their wedding with a dance routine they choreographed specifically for the big day.
The song they chose was from the movie Dirty Dancing, entitled “I’ve Had the Time of My Life”. The song is well-known for its romantic undertones, and it is heralded by many as the best song on the soundtrack for the movie.
What was most enjoyable about the event was the dancing itself. The couple clearly had practiced their choreography for quite some time since they performed the routine without so much as a single hiccup or misstep.
They even paid tribute to the great Patrick Swayze, the star of Dirty Dancing. The bride had exchanged her wedding dress for a fun ballroom dress that gave her much more freedom of movement, although she kept the traditional white color.
