An experiment has been done on rats recently, at Reading University, regarding champagne and disease.

The results are astounding! Professor Jeremy Spencer, who heads the experiment, states that “the results were dramatic”.

These findings both confuse and give hope to scientists, as they have found that drinking three glasses of champagne every day can help ward off the onset of dementia and Alzheimer’s.

An element found in certain champagnes can help prevent brain diseases and increase spatial memory in rats.

The black grapes used to make particular bottles of champagne are credited to this finding.

Scientists are not sure on the exact reason why this has happened, but nonetheless, these are extremely fascinating findings.

No one, even in the scientific world, could imagine that moderate consumption of champagne would have the potential to influence cognitive operation, especially for the good.

These are just preliminary findings. Jeremy Spencer and his team will be conducting more research in the future to find the exact reason why these results have happened.

More studies need to be done to have concrete evidence.

Hopefully, future human studies will show the same results and we can all drink our champagne with a little more enthusiasm, with a good reason to drink it in the first place!
