When It Comes To Alexandra and Antonin Kinova, the fifth time is the charm.
Normally, you ‘d be overwhelmed with happiness at the mere fact of welcoming your baby into the world. Nevertheless, for one couple in the Czech Republic, there’s a whole lot more than a single reason to be grateful this season, as they greeted their children- yes, you read that right; CHILDREN.
The pair, Antonin and Alexandra Kinova, were really no strangers to babies because they already had a kid. They were even more excited and anxious to learn of the newest addition to their family. But bear in mind, things got much more exciting when they found out that they would be having not just one, but two babies.
Taking into account the fact that Alexandra and Antonin both came from relatives with extensive past histories of twins, they were gearing up to maintain the family (or in this case, families) norm.
While in the process of making preparations for their new baby, Alexandra and Antonin, who are both from Milovice (a city in the Czech Republic) learned from their doctor that instead of just one baby, they would be having a set of twins. Upon hearing of this most recent development, the couple, chock full of excitement, started to make preparations for the new additions that will be added to the household.
It wasn’t particularly a shock, considering that they came from families with extensive histories of having twins.
Nevertheless, almost instantly, their doctor contacted the couple and arranged a meeting to re-diagnose.
The next ting the doctor said was something that they never even imagined they ‘d hear. The doctor showed them the ultrasound again and when they examined it, the doctor broke the news to them clearly; the couple wasn’t expecting one infant or two … but 4 bundles of joy!
You ‘d think the news would stop there, right?
Well, it didn’t.
A month afterwards, Alexandra went in to get yet another ultrasound and this time around, it was uncovered that there was still another little one in her womb!
“When we ultimately discovered that there was a fifth little one, I began to shed tears”, said Alexandra. Typically, the possibilities that this lady was going to conceive 5 kids a once were one in seven million. Still, Alexandra was determined to nurse every one of them.
When it was inevitably time for Alexandra to give birth, the emergency room provided twice the ordinary amount of delivery staff to cater for this delivery. This doubling also included midwives and doctors, and this means that the complete number of staff available for the delivery was just about 40. The lead doctor of the hospital’s neonatal division stated that he procedure went on flawlessly, without a single drawback recorded.
When it was all sad and done, the young couple welcomed 5 new babies into their family; 4 little boys and 1 little girl.
The boys were named Deniel, Alex, Michael, and Martin while the lovely couple named their beautiful baby girl Tereza. All babies were born in a healthy state, and there has been not one single overall health complication announced from the mom and her new children.
“In this specific country, we have been actively recording stats of birth ever since 1949 and in that time, there has never once been a mention of quintuplets. As a matter of fact, quintuplets are birthed in the Czech Republic once in every 480 years on an average”, said physician Alena Mechurova.
