Poking any kind of stick is not usually a good idea. One man thought that it would be wise to poke an anaconda with a stick, and the snake gave a reply that isn’t surprising.
It acted like any other snake would that was attacked, but this snake is very large, and the consequences could have been very different for the man. The man in the video doesn’t seem to understand or know just how powerful this kind of snake is in the wild.
There are even movies about the snake that depict their nature of wrapping around their prey in order to squeeze the life out before swallowing the animal. At times, there have been snakes that have consumed people.
There is no indication as to how the man found the snake, but it appears as though he isn’t very bright. As he holds the camera to film his actions, he begins to poke the snake on its nose. The snake is just laying in the water minding its own business.
Before you know it, the snake lunges out of the water toward the man. This could have ended very differently if the man hadn’t jumped out of the way like he did.
