Twins carry one of the most special bonds in all of the world, and when Jeff and Peggy Kehoe learned their pregnancy was actually a set of twins, they couldn’t believe how lucky they were.

The identical twins were named Jenna and Hailey, and the two girls were born as healthy as possible. They sported beautiful blue eyes and bright blonde hair, and no one could look at them as anything less than precious angels.

The girls were completely happy and led a normal life for 12 years until one fateful day. Jeff and Peggy found one of their daughters, Hailey, collapsed on the floor of the bathroom at the age of 12. The girl was slurring her words, and her eyes would not fully open.

Jeff called 911 right away, and the parents helped rush their daughter to the hospital when the ambulance finally arrived. During the ride to the emergency room, Hailey cried out over a blinding pain in her head, which worried her parents to no end.

Little did they know what to expect at the hospital. Hailey had suffered from a brain hemorrhage, which essentially meant that blood was pouring from her brain within her skull with no where for it to go.

Doctors initially told Jeff and Peggy they could do nothing for Hailey, and that she would die as a result of pressure on her brain.

However, a team from Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital flew her to a special care facility, where she received specialized surgery to relieve the swelling on her brain. The girl miraculously awoke after the surgery.
