Few things are harder than shepherding a mouthy teenager off to school. Nearly all parents are familiar with this. The struggle to send teenagers off to school is real, and the result is many teenagers often end up to school late.
This means parents are often stuck writing notes to the school explaining why their teenager is tardy. This is often a frustrating task! Thankfully, Nicole Poppic recently showed the world how to write a great tardy note. Poppic is a mother of three. Her oldest is a teenager named Cara. Now, Cara is normally a good kid.
She is usually well-behaved, and she is even an honor student. However, Cara is often late to school, and it drives her mother crazy. Poppic finally decided to do something about it. Poppic sent Cara into school with a note explaining Cara’s tardiness. The note was packed with the same sarcasm any mother of teenagers will recognize. For example, the note read, “Cara is tardy this morning as a result of a condition known as teenage-ism.
Adolescents across our great nation are afflicted and there is no known cure.” Later, the note read, “She seems to be recovering her senses, after watching her cell phone fly out the car window. Please call if there is another flare-up.”
