Unidentified flying objects, or UFOs, are a subject that many people enjoy talking about. Some find them fascination while others believe UFOs are everything from alien ships to angels. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, or NASA, has been releasing far more space images online lately giving UFO hunters some material to work with. The UFO hunters believe to find UFOs in NASA pictures on a regular basis. Most are simple to dismiss although some are more difficult to explain. This is why it comes as no surprise that a recent photograph from astronaut Mark Kelly has stirred up some people in the UFO community.
Kelly has been living on the International Space Station for roughly a year now. He has been regularly taking photos out the window of the station and then posting them immediately on Twitter. The photos are breathtaking and show many interesting features of our plant. One of the latest pictures of India had an anomaly in the upper right hand corner. The anomaly appeared to be a bar of light with two bright spots close to each end. UFO hunter Sonofmabarker posted the photo on YouTube along with the comment “In the upper right of the photo you can clearly see a large object with two lights on each end.”
Some other UFO hunters believe the anomaly to be an alien ship. This includes Scott Waring who edits the UFO Sightings Daily blog. Unfortunately, the anomaly is not likely a UFO. A different picture was sent out later by Kelly showing the exact same thing in the same place on the photo even though the station had moved. This has led most to conclude it is nothing more than reflected lights from inside the space station.
