A 911 operator in Houston was arrested for interfering with emergency calls for allegedly hanging up on thousands of calls while on duty.

Houston police arrested Creshanda Williams on two counts of interference of emergency calls and could face up to a year in jail.

The former 911 operator allegedly told police that she did not have time for the callers when they called. According to reports, she told one caller that “ain’t nobody got time for this!”

Officials became suspicious when they noticed that thousands of 911 calls only lasted around 20 seconds or less and they were directly attributed to Williams.

In one case, a store owner called 911 during an armed robbery and Williams took the call. Reports indicate that Williams did not believe the store owner and she hung up on him. The store owner was killed in the robbery.

Another man called 911 and when his wife passed out and he was connected to Williams.

The man stated that he told Williams that his wife had passed out and she allegedly said ‘OK,’ and hung up on the man. The man also recounted that when Williams answered the call, she said: “this is Crenshanda, may I help you?”
