Jess Jones is a woman who works as a waitress and who is trying to pay her way through Rutgers University. On August 17, she had a large table to serve with eight people.

The bill was over $100. The people at the table had to wait for about an hour for their food, but for such a large group, it wasn’t surprising that they had a longer wait than most other tables.

Someone from the group wrote a rude comment about waiting for an hour for the food and also wrote “LOL” on the line for the tip. Jess posted the receipt on Facebook to show others how upset she was about the incident and how disrespectful some customers can be at restaurants.

She is a woman who takes pride in making sure her customers are taken care of and that they understand if there are any delays in the kitchen. Jess needs to make as many tips as she can because she pays taxes on the amount she makes, which means that her checks are small.

She wants others to know that they should be good to the servers as they make little for an hourly wage and are only trying to give a pleasurable dining experience.
