Ford Motor Company will be relocating its production of small cars to a facility in Mexico. Due to high taxes in America, Ford has no choice but to make this move.
Another car company, Fiat Chrysler, will cease all car manufacturing in the United States in 2017. They will relocate to Mexico and Canada.
Nabisco laid off 600 workers at a Chicago plant, and the company invested $130 million in a plant in Mexico.
Burger King relocated its headquarters to Canada after merging with Tim Horton’s in 2014. United Technologies Electronic Controls will be close its Indianan plants to relocate to Mexico.
Finally, Carrier will also leave Indiana to find a new home in Mexico.
