Birthday parties are supposed to be fun for everyone.

Many people’s happiest childhood memories involve birthday parties. However, a birthday party ended up being a nightmare for a 10-year-old boy. He developed large sores all over his body after he came home from a birthday party.

The boy’s mother, Brenda, immediately took her son to the doctor. At first, the doctor did not know how all of those sores got on the boy’s body.

However, when Brenda told the doctor that her son had been playing in a bounce house, he immediately knew what caused the sores. The sores were caused by a Staph infection.

These types of infections develop when shared equipment is not properly disinfected. Most bounce houses are not properly inspected before they are rented out.

If you have a cut in your skin, then you are even more likely to develop a staph infection. There are several things that you can do in order to avoid getting a Staph infection.

You will need to wash your hands before and after playing a sport.

Cuts will need to be covered with band-aids until they have completely healed. If you develop sores that will not heal, then it is time to contact a physician.
